One of the great benefits of
being a member of the Young Farmers Organization is the chance to develop one's
leadership skills. Whether it's serving as a local chapter officer or
being a member of the state officer team, the experiences of being an officer
are invaluable.
Serving on the Colorado Young
Farmers Educational Association State Officer Team can be a very rewarding
experience. The time requirement is much less than you might think.
State Officers get the opportunity to promote the Young Farmers Organization at
several events throughout the year, meet various government officials, make
visits to the local chapters, plan the state convention and much much more.
State Officers receive travel
expense compensation as well as getting all of their state institute expenses paid for.
Each year, the Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association at its state
convention elects new state officers.
