Objectives:

1. Provide an educational program that inspires participation from members throughout the CYFEA.

2. Enhance agricultural promotion opportunities by inspiring photography of the firms, ag businesses, rural communities, activities of Colorado Young Farmer chapters, agriculture related human interest items, etc. of America.

3. Encourage members to take quality photographs, which can be widely published in the print media and on the internet.

4. Provide a rewarding and fun-filled experience where members are excited about participating.

5. Generate more entries for the NYFEA Photo for Agriculture Contest held at the NYFEA National Institute each December.

Cash Awards:

Cash awards as follows will be presented to the winners in each of the three photo categories:

Contestant Eligibility:

Any active member of CYFEA can enter. Individuals submitting photographs release copyrights to the CYFEA.

Each member or advisor may submit one photo in each of the following categories:

1. Entries are recommended to be 5 x 7 color print(s) mounted on an 8 x 10 poster board.

2. All pictures must have a title, which may be located on the front, back or both of the picture.

Entry Deadline: Saturday morning at 8:30 A.M. at the CYFEA State Institute.

Winners will be announced at the Saturday Spokesperson for Agriculture Luncheon during the State Institute.
